Duleek AFC  celebrates its 21st birthday with a birthday party in O ‘Neills bar in Duleek.It was a celebration of the good times and successes that all the members had over the years. A special thanks and acknowledgement to Teddy Seary for being the main guiding factor on and off the pitch.

Duleek’s early years were spent playing friendlies and competing in local competitions such as the Drogheda Summer League where they collected their first trophy in the Referees Shield in 1972

Duleek entered the AUL Louth & District League and although it took getting used to, Duleek performed very well in their first 2 seasons finishing on the upper half of the league table.

The club’s first pitch was located on a beautiful site on the banks of the river Nanny, kindly donated by Pat mc Keown who was also the club’s first president.
